Biography[]
Britt Robertson starred as 16-year-old Lux Cassidy, a wise-beyond-her-years foster kid who decides to track down her birth parents in an effort to become an emancipated minor, but finds a new beginning instead, in The CW’s midseason drama Life Unexpected.
Robertson’s feature film credits include Dan in Real Life and Keeping Up with the Steins. Later this year, she will also be seen in Mother and Child, directed by Rodrigo Garcia, starring Naomi Watts and Annette Bening. Her independent films include From Within and Driving Lessons.
Her television credits include CBS Paramount’s drama Swingtown as a series regular, along with lead roles in the television movies Jesse Stone: Night Passage and the critically acclaimed The Tenth Circle.
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Robertson splits her time between Greenville, South Carolina and Los Angeles, California. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, during the filming of The Secret Circle.

Rising star Britt Robertson gained widespread attention as Lux, star of The CW's critically-acclaimed drama "Life Unexpected." She returns to the network as Cassie Blake in the new drama from Kevin Williamson, "The Secret Circle."
Robertson recently completed filming the feature film "The First Time." The romantic comedy, which centers on the first weekend of a fledgling romance between two high school kids, is directed by Jonathan Kasdan, and also stars Dylan O'Brien. She also had a cameo in the feature film "Scream 4."
Robertson's additional film credits include: Disney Channel's "Avalon High," based on the book by Meg Cabot; "The Family Tree" which debuted at the Hamptons International Film Festival; "Dan in Real Life," "Keeping Up with the Steins" and "Mother and Child," with Naomi Watts and Annette Bening.
